Attorney Lane, also known as The General, represents Florida and California consumers in individual litigation, class action litigation, and arbitration. His practice areas largely focus on the Florida Consumer Collection Practices Act (FCCPA), Rosenthal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (RFDCPA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Attorney Lane pursues cases against companies that improperly communicate with consumers and report inaccurate and derogatory information on consumers' credit reports.

In May 2022, he graduated magna cum laude from the St. Thomas University Benjamin L. Crump College of Law. While in law school, Attorney Lane was a summer legal intern with the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission’s Miami office and the Senior Articles Editor of the St. Thomas Journal of Complex Litigation.

Attorney Lane was born and raised in South Florida. He attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School, where he played football and won a state championship in 2014. He then attended Florida State University, where he realized the importance of positive personal finance habits. After this realization, Attorney Lane set out to improve the financial health of regular hard-working Americans, which led him to The Law Offices of Jibrael S. Hindi.
