Mr. Lane, also known as The General, is a dependable and steadfast counselor for consumers across the country. As a Partner at Jibrael Law, Mr. Lane has built a reputation for being both relentless in his pursuit of justice and deeply committed to the financial well-being of everyday Americans. Mr. Lane has successfully represented thousands of consumers in matters involving unlawful debt collection, inaccurate credit reporting, improper telemarketing, and data privacy violations. His work spans a broad range of forums, including individual litigation, class action litigation, and arbitration proceedings, all under the umbrella of state and federal consumer protection statutes.
Before joining Jibrael Law, Mr. Lane graduated magna cum laude from St. Thomas University Benjamin L. Crump College of Law. During law school, he interned with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Miami Office and served as Senior Articles Editor of the St. Thomas Journal of Complex Litigation.
A South Florida native, Mr. Lane attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School, where he played football and was part of the 2014 state championship team. He later earned his undergraduate degree from Florida State University, where he developed a strong interest in personal finance. That passion for financial literacy and consumer advocacy ultimately led him to a career dedicated to protecting the financial rights of everyday Americans at Jibrael Law.
Mr. Lane is licensed to practice law in Florida and California, and he is admitted to practice in seven federal judicial districts: the Northern, Eastern, Central, and Southern Districts of California, as well as the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida.
