Frequently Asked Questions

What Is TCPA & How Does It Protect Me?

The Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) restricts the methods in which telephone solicitors can reach you. Mainly, it forbids the use of robocalls – phone calls done through auto-dialing technology. If any company is contacting you through such methods without your consent, you may be eligible for $500 to $1500 in compensation per call or text.

What Are Your Fees?

We do not expect payment for our legal services until we win your case. Depending on the circumstances of the case, the perpetrator responsible for your case will either pay us directly, or we take a fraction out of the earnings from your financial compensation.

I Am Not The Right Number For These Calls!

Calling the wrong person for a debt collection violates the law. If you continue receiving calls after saying it is the wrong number, the company is knowingly breaking the law.

You May Have A Case If The Caller Performs Any Of The Following Behaviors

  • Reaching You Through Autodialing Technology Without Consent
  • Saying Abusive or Profane Language
  • Discussing Your Debt With Other People
  • Threatening Destruction of Credit, Lawsuit, or Injury
  • Calling After 9:00 A.M. or Before 8:00 P.M.
  • Not notifying you of your right to dispute the debt
  • Contacting you even when you explicitly told them not to
  • Alleging that you committed a crime
  • Did not send a letter within five days after the first phone call
  • Calling Several Times Per Week

Take A Stand

Intrusive, harassing calls may seem intimidating, but it is possible to fight back. The law is in place to protect you and punish those who abuse their ability to speak with you on the phone. So much as saying “Stop calling me” to a real person or not giving consent for automated phone messages should be enough to end the calls. If they continue, that means it is time to seek the assistance of a TCPA attorney.
